This time, Lorelei will be chatting about the books she's looking forward to reading this summer - the best of romance beach reads! If your TBR pile isn't already groaning, it will be! Affectionately referred to as a passionate Romance Ambassador, Lorelei has been offering book recommendations, author spotlights, giveaways and connecting authors with readers through social media since 2010, providing a safe and friendly environment for book lovers around the globe. Since 2015, Lorelei has hosted sold-out literary events in Orlando, FL, partnering with the Orange County Library and, most recently, the Winter Park Library for the annual Romancing the Books Festival.  Lorelei is now one of the hosts of Bookspace.world, the ultimate haven for readers and writers.  Romance readers can also join Let’s Talk Romance Books, an exclusive virtual membership where Lorelei brings her signature in-person event experience online. We are super excited to be partnering with the owners (and twin sisters) behind Read My Lips Boston, Massachusetts’ diverse romance pop-up bookshop, for this special series! You’ll find Lily and Hannah Barrett quarterly on Zoom for 30 minutes of romance book recommendations celebrating authors and main characters who identify as BIPOC, queer, disabled, big-bodied, and members of other underrepresented groups in the genre. In June, our theme is "Hot Queer Summer,” focusing on queer romance novels set on tropical beach islands, on summer vacation, and more. We're sure you'll find something to like from Lily and Hannah's many enthusiastic reviews. Please register. You can sign up for one session or for all! Run by twin sisters Lily and Hannah Barrett, Read My Lips Boston is a pop-up diverse romance bookshop based in the Boston area. Read My Lips partners with breweries and cafes to host mobile shops with love stories starring those identifying as BIPOC, disabled, queer, big-bodied, and members of other groups historically underrepresented in the romance genre. To Lily and Hannah, elevating their community is paramount; The shop gives 10% of its proceeds to area nonprofits. Read My Lips' mission addresses a gap the sisters felt growing up. Born deaf, they received cochlear implants as toddlers. Their parents read to them, teaching them speech and fostering a love of reading. Growing up, Lily and Hannah loved romance novels but struggled to find characters they could relate to. They started Read My Lips because they believe everyone deserves to be seen as the hero — not typecast as a villain or sidekick based on white, cis, hetero, straight-bodied and abled standards. We'll send out a list of all recommendations for those who register. We will also be recording our meetings and uploading them to our YouTube Channel. Unable to get specifics from the old and new guard of detectives, Hanson forges ahead, mining what he can from previously released articles and people who lived in the neighborhood at the time. An unusual yet passionate text, Dead End Road honors Renee Freer's memory and asks its how will you help? Join us for this conversation with E.C. as he discusses his book, research, and goal in pursuing this cold case. Please register E. C. Hanson is an author of Western and horror fiction.
