We are thrilled to announce our Second Annual Local Author Expo, featuring a fresh lineup of talented authors eager to discuss and sell their books! Event Highlights: The event will kick off with a panel of seven authors sharing insights about their books, sources of inspiration, and writing processes. Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to stroll among the author tables, engage in conversations, and purchase books directly from the authors. Berg writes thoughtful stories, with rich and believable characters. Berg tries to write the kind of stories he’d want to read himself. Tales that inspire and make the reader think. With a BA in Dance, she pursued a career in Theater Arts and followed her passion for writing and literature by earning a Master’s in English. She worked for 15 years as a middle and high school English teacher at many prestigious public and private schools and was awarded a grant to study Shakespeare at the Globe Theater in London. Jean’s first book, Deer, Dragonfly, and Cardinal, was published by Barnes and Noble in January 2025 and has received numerous five-star reviews. This beautiful memoir honors her son Andrew and shares her journey of grief and the signs that he is still connected to her. Her article, "Walking the Path of Grief," was published in the e-magazine, We Need Not Walk Alone (Spring 2023) and describes how yoga helps her healing process.
