For Grades 7-12. Join librarian and Game Master Casey for 90 minutes of D&D adventure! New adventurers and seasoned pros are all welcome! Each month will be its own separate one shot so no need to be able to make all of them. Any questions, feel free to email [email protected]. All materials will be provided: dice, character sheets, pencils and paper, access to the Player's Handbook, but if you wish to bring your own from home, feel free! All character should be level 5-7. OF NOTE: D&D is a game of collaborative storytelling among both players and Game Master. While side quests are fun, there is an expectation that all players are willing to play the game the way it is intended and follow the adventure along with the other players. If any player repeatedly demonstrates an unwillingness to do so, they will be asked to leave and try again another time. Registration is required. This is session 6 of 6: Sharing Your Genealogical Research Results Genealogy has become much more popular with the ease of finding information on the Internet, but far from everything for your family history is on the Internet!  Starting with the forms common in genealogical research, we will explore research techniques, census reports, researching at repositories, internet research, organizing and writing in order to help you create a lasting family heirloom! This class will have something for both the beginning and experienced family researcher. Seema-Jayne Kenney started in the business of genealogy after completing the Genealogical Research Certificate Program at Boston University’s Center for Professional Education in 2010. Since then, she continued her education via ProGen & NIGR in 2012, and joined several Genealogy Societies, attended local conferences, and enjoyed several webinars. Seema began exploring her family history while she was still in high school, and discovered family roots that go deep into Colonial New England and extend to England, Germany, Sweden, and The Netherlands.
