For Grades 7-12. Join librarian and Game Master Casey for 90 minutes of D&D adventure! New adventurers and seasoned pros are all welcome! Each month will be its own separate one shot so no need to be able to make all of them. Any questions, feel free to email [email protected]. All materials will be provided: dice, character sheets, pencils and paper, access to the Player's Handbook, but if you wish to bring your own from home, feel free! All character should be level 5-7. OF NOTE: D&D is a game of collaborative storytelling among both players and Game Master. While side quests are fun, there is an expectation that all players are willing to play the game the way it is intended and follow the adventure along with the other players. If any player repeatedly demonstrates an unwillingness to do so, they will be asked to leave and try again another time. Registration is required. Join well known instructor, Sheryl White, who will show you how to teach your baby sign language (learn 60 ASL signs) as well as explore benefits and research for caregivers. You will learn everything that you need to know to get started signing right away. Participants are encouraged to sign up for all 4 workshop sessions which will take place in the Tarbell Room at the library on Wednesdays in March and early April (3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/8) from 10:30 - 11:15. The Boston Bogleheads will be meeting on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Tarbell Room (second floor) for a presentation on estate planning. At this meeting, Rick Moberg will present the first part of a two-part series on estate planning. Rick is a long-time member of the Boston Bogleheads and a frequent presenter to our group. He is also a former CPA and CFO. Given the breadth and complexity of estate planning, the material has been divided into two sessions: Part One: March 28, 2026 The first meeting will address the following topics: Estate planning objectives Estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, and living wills Key estate planning concepts, such as probate, property titling, beneficiary designations, asset protection, and estate taxes Part Two: June 2026 (date to be announced) The second meeting will focus on trusts and will cover: General trust characteristics Revocable living trusts Specific irrevocable trusts used in estate planning, including QTIP marital trusts, family trusts, children’s trusts, Medicaid trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable trusts, and special needs trusts The goal of both presentations is to help participants better understand their estate planning options and decide what kind of estate plan might be right for them before meeting with an estate attorney.   All are welcome to attend! https://lincolnpl.assabetinteractive.com/calendar/boston-bogleheads-5/
