Join us in the Grice Community Room for this Family yoga class! This is a yoga class for children and their grownup to do together. Adults can bring multiple children, ages 3-7. Max capacity is 15 families -- be sure to register! Start your morning with a relaxing yoga flow. Our practice will incorporate synchronization of breath and mindful movement, while we explore postures to build strength, balance, stability, and to find peace within our morning. Please bring props to support your practice, including a yoga mat, blocks and/or strap. Emma Bartolini of Shine & Shadow Yoga is a CYT 200 HR Yoga Teacher/ Gentle Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga and Children's Yoga Teacher.Emma offers creative flow style classes that bring movement to the body and stillness to the mind. Her passion for movement arts shines through with influences that engage students in dynamic sequences. Her classes incorporate slower, stress-relieving flows with mindful breathing, and restful meditations.

Feel like you’re in a gaming rut? Looking for new friends to play board games with? Looking to discard some of your old games and pick up some new ones to try out?Come join us for an open board gaming session in the Grice Community Room any time between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Bring a game, learn a new game, and swap a game, if you’d like.Donated games to swap will only be accepted day-of. Please do not bring donations in the days leading up to the event. Leave with as many (or even more!) games as you came with. Any games left in the Community Room at 4:30 p.m. may be added to our library’s programming supplies or donated to the Friends of the Marlborough Public Library.

The library is an official site for free summer meals! Throughout the summer, children and teens are invited to enjoy a fun LEGO playtime, and a nutritious, free lunch. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.  No registration is needed. This program runs Monday thru Friday.  Lunches for children will be from 12 to 1pm and lunches for teens will be from 1 to 2pm. This program is federally-funded by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service, and administered by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
