Art of the Wetlands is an art exhibition of paintings by Lisa Hayden and photography by Thomas Hayden. Lisa Hayden is a Northborough-based professional artist who paints abstract landscapes and abstracts. The intersection of water and land is a recurring theme in her work and she often spends time in wetlands areas gathering inspiration. Thomas Hayden enjoys photographing the many birds that live in wetlands, both in Massachusetts and around the country. More about Lisa Hayden can be found on her website www.meltedtheory.com. Join us for a night of adventure, comradery, and excitement for Adult D&D Night! Our DM will lead the group on fantastic adventures that will leave you ready for the next session. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to this program. No alcoholic drinks are permitted. Attendees can choose to be added to the Discord Channel for the program. Ages 18+ Gameplay Rules: Beginners are not expected to know all the rules, but must be able to accurately interpret dice and their character sheet. If you know how to make your own sheet, please let the DM know so your level is consistent with the others. Teamwork is key - players must work with the party in a non-disruptive way. This is a safe space for all, please respect players in and out of the game! Any character abilities outside the core must be brought to the DMs attention. The DM has final say on how all effects work in the game. The Northborough Free Library is pleased to offer our patrons Tech Tutoring appointments. They are one-on-one technology appointments with the Reference Department staff. These trainings are designed to help familiarize patrons with common computer and internet functions in order to encourage digital literacy in our community. Tech Help appointments can cover the following: Basic computer skills Library resources such as online databases, Overdrive/Libby, Kanopy, Mango, etc. Email/Internet basics Social media basics Office productivity software (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) Basic computer troubleshooting Tech Tutoring appointments FAQs: Appointments will be 30 minutes long Patrons can book 3 appointments per month. Appointments are scheduled between 2 PM - 5PM on Wednesdays. If you need to arrange an alternate time, please contact noboadults@cwmars.org. Library staff cannot be held responsible for damage to patron-owned equipment. Please be sure to bring any passwords, devices, cables, and manuals you may need.  We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
