In this yoga class, we focus on core basic movements with a high attention to the present moment—anyone from the seasoned to the occasional yogi will benefit. The overall themes for the class are self-awareness, acceptance, breath, gratitude, and self-compassion. Mindfulness is a way to break away from attachments, limits, and lack of awareness we experience in ourselves, and that is precisely our focus. The class will be in the style of a vinyasa slow flow, but the nuances of our mind will supersede everything else. Class will conclude with breathwork and a brief meditation to seal your experience. What’s a bird’s-eye view really like? Come walking with a bird of prey & discover life on the wing.  Monadnock Falconry offers the chance for nature enthusiasts of all ages to imagine life as a bird of prey! Come learn through first-hand experience about these amazing creatures rarely encountered up close in the wild. The program gives the opportunity to meet a Harris' Hawk and see it on the wing, while answering all your questions about their life histories and relation to their human handlers. The program is open to all, including those with disabilities. In this 60-minute program, you’ll learn what raptors are all about. How powerful are their eyes? What makes them such good hunters? Why do they come back to the glove? Hands-on instruction in some basic falconry principles, including the opportunity to “catch” a flying bird, is included.
