The Spoken Word Poetry for Teens program is a dynamic and engaging creative workshop designed to empower young voices through the art of spoken word. Aimed at teenagers, this program offers a safe and supportive space for participants to explore personal expression, develop writing skills, and build confidence in public speaking. Teens will learn the fundamentals of crafting powerful poems, from brainstorming ideas and structuring verses to performing with passion and authenticity.Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, receive constructive feedback from experienced mentors, and showcase their work. Creative Writing Club is for storytellers and writing enthusiasts in Grades 7-12.  Whether you have been working on writing something independently, or if you're just looking for ideas to write about, you will fine tune your writing skills through various freewriting exercises, flexing your creative muscles through writing prompts, or just simply writing for fun, this program is for you.  Establish a writing routine, explore your creativity and hone your craft with like-minded peers.  Creative Writing Club provides a safe space for you to write however you wish, as well as provides the opportunity to share your work with other teen writers and allows for the giving and receiving constructive feedback on each others work (but only if you're comfortable).   Imagination is encouraged in a judgement-free zone.
