We are thrilled to announce that the opening day of the Rockport Elementary School Juggling Club is Thursday, September 25th. Our club will gather in the gym every Thursday, beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding at 8:45 AM throughout the entire school year. This exciting opportunity is available to RES students in grades 2-5. The Juggling Club is a free before-school movement program designed to foster a range of valuable skills in your child. Through juggling, we develop skills such as resilience, perseverance, confidence, coordination, joy, a sense of community, and positive self-esteem. Additionally, it provides an active and engaging way for your child to jump-start their morning, energizing their mind and body. Our program begins with scarf juggling and progressively advances to ball juggling, with the possibility of exploring rings and clubs for those who progress to that level. Students who master ball juggling will have the exciting opportunity to join the RES Performance Juggling Team. Please complete the Google form to enroll your child in the Juggling Club. It's Book Fair time.  This years book fair will be held on Wed, 4/1 and Thurs, 4/2.  Use this link to sign up for a time for your class to visit the book fair.  Sign up before Thurs, 3/26 so I can add the classroom times to the newsletter for parents.  The below information will be on the newsletter.  Feel free to use it to send information home to parents through your own communication channels. Rockport Elementary School Library will be running a Best Book Fair in the gymnasium during the first week of April on April 1st and 2nd. The hours are 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM both days. Students will be visiting the book fair with their class and will have the opportunity to purchase books at that time. Please support our students, books and pleasure reading in our school.  If you plan to send a check with your student please make it out to RES.  Please email Ms. Burk([email protected]) Schedule for classroom visits  If you plan to visit the book fair with your child during school hours, remember to bring your license and check into the main office before going to the book fair.
