About Us
On November 7, 1770 the Massachusetts colonial legislature chartered Southwick as a separate town, setting it off from Westfield, making 2020 our 250th birthday. Who’s Invited? Whether current or past resident or from a neighboring town, please follow us for a great time! It’s a Year-Long Celebration! Enjoy Southwick’s proud heritage and bright future with events for all ages and interests. Our site includes: Exciting events already sponsored by our churches, civic groups, schools and businesses, plus opportunities for additional sponsorships Promotion of “buy local” with our businesses that live, hire, pay taxes and serve our community One-stop service for everything 250 – donations, volunteers, information about events and our grand parade, and contact information.
