This is the make-up date for Soap Workshop originally scheduled for 1/26/26 and 2/23/26, canceled due to weather.Come learn the science and process behind soap making, leave with your own homemade soap! Kristie Valenze will walk participants through the saponification process and how to create basic bars of soap in this hands-on program. Safety goggles, gloves, and basic trays provided, but feel free to bring your own safety supplies and soap molds (maximum of 24 oz please). This two-part series will go over basic and goat's milk soap. Participants must have attended the first program (on 1/12/16) to attend the second. Ages 16+Please note: Due to the popularity of this program in the past, and to ensure that as many people can learn these skills as possible, any registrants of the previous Soap Workshop (in September and October 2024) will be placed on the waitlist until the week of the program. Any spots that remain open the week of the program will then be filled with waitlist participants. We appreciate your understanding.
