Baby Book Time

For ages up to 2 1/2. It’s never too early to read to your baby! Introduce your baby to the fun of words and books with simple stories, play rhymes, and songs. This program will take place in the Community Room.

Visit with the GOFI dogs

Come visit with the service dogs from Golden Opportunities For Independence.  Learn more about the work that these dogs and their handlers do in the community and enjoy time spent sitting with and patting the pups.

Ready to explore the world of solids, liquids, and gasses? In this workshop for children in Grades K-3, we’ll probe the states of matter through total discovery. From melting metal to experimenting with freezing-cold dry ice, it’s a session packed with hands-on fun. We’ll use balloons to visualize gas and wrap up by catching a real cloud! This program is for children in Grades K-3. Caregivers must stay on the library premises for the duration of the program.
