KBIC Beginner Fishing ClinicsJune 27, 2025Location: Ojibwa Campground, 101 Lighthouse Road, Baraga, MITime: 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:00pm The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community is hosting two children’s fishing clinics at the Ojibwa Campground in Baraga. The Calumet Keweenaw Sportsmen’s Club and Keweenaw National Historical Park will be assisting in the programming and activities at the event! There are two available times for these clinics: 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm. These beginner camps will provide interested junior anglers with skills training and fun fishing activities.

KBIC Kid’s Fishing DayJune 28, 2025Location: Ojibwa Campground, 101 Lighthouse Road, Baraga, MITime: 9:00am-12:00pm (pre-registration 8:00am-9:00am) The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community is hosting a Kid’s Fishing Day at the Ojibwa Campground in Baraga. The Calumet Keweenaw Sportsmen’s Club and Keweenaw National Historical Park will be assisting in the programming and activities at the event! Pre-registration for this event is between 8:00am-9:00am on the day of the event. Then, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, kids have free range to fish and interact with the games and activities at the event. Lunch is provided between 11:00am-12:00pm. After noon, prizes will be awarded for different fishing categories.
