Join the Sleeping Bear Nature Group for their monthly excursion, lead by Penny Krebiehl. Meet at the library first for some discussion and practice, then depart to observe local flora and fauna. Be sure to pack pencils/pens, paper or drawing book/journal, water bottle, snacks/lunch, and dress appropriately for the weather with comfy walking shoes, and your curiosity. Registration is not mandatory, but is helpful in the event of schedule changes or inclement weather.

The Glen Arbor Arts Center's Coffee With The Authors is a series of conversational interviews with local, regional, and state authors about the art, craft, and process of writing. The third season of Coffee With The Authors is about building. And the next interview in the 2025 series is about building the history of a place, in this case Glen Arbor Township: A History to 1920, a new book edited by Andrew White; and written by Paul Dechow, Mary Severson Tris, Barbara Siepker, and John Tris. The interview, led by Sarah Bearup Neal, will take place in the GAAC Main Gallery.
