This class does not meet court requirements. Join other parents of elementary-age children at this, six-week discussion group for ideas, support, laughter, and encouragement. Discuss ways to understand behavior, build self-esteem, increase cooperation, and provide discipline that teaches personal responsibility, emphasizing the hot topics of School Success and Alcohol, Tobacco, and other drugs. This class runs every Monday from 6/1/26 – 7/6/26, 10:00am – Noon, held at the Mt. Clemens Public Library. This is a free class with the book included. Register on this site and call CARE 586-541-2273 to arrange to pick up the book.

Free, evidence-based, alternative to suspension or citation program that helps schools and communities address teen vaping in a more supportive way. Through interactive activities, students learn about nicotine dependence, explore healthy alternatives, and work towards becoming free from all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes. This series is 4-weeks Sessions are one-hour long one time per week. Participants must attend all four sessions to receive a certificate.

The mission of the Mount Clemens Community Coalition is to prevent and reduce substance use in our city through education and awareness activities. Our goal is to create a safe, healthy community by building and supporting strong families and neighborhoods. The coalition is comprised of community members and local leaders representing 12 sectors of the community who are committed to reducing drug abuse. Meets the first Wednesday of each month from 6-7:30 pm at Mount Clemens High School, 155 Case Ave, Mount Clemens.

Ideas on encouraging personal responsibility, self-respect, respectfulness, age-appropriate discipline, and methods to help your teen find their way through the issues that they face such as the latest in teen drug use prevention and teen bullying. This class runs every Wednesday from 4/1/26 to 5/6/26, 6:00-8:00 pm, with sessions that build on each other every week. This class is held virtually on ZOOM.
