On Friday May 30 we'll be hosting our annual Spring BBQ&mdash a picnic-style lunch&mdash at Disney. The hot lunch option for the day will be a BBQ hot dog meal and coy lunch is a Soy butter & Jelly sandwich. As always students are welcome to bring their own lunch if they prefer. Weather permitting lunch will be enjoyed outdoors in picnic style. We encourage students to bring a blanket or towel to sit on and make the most of this special outdoor lunch experience. It's always a fun and welcome change from the usual routine!

Macomb Public Library Visit

Representatives from the Macomb Public Library will be at Disney to provide information about the Summer Reading Program

2nd Grade Coney Island/Fort Fraser Field Trip

Students will travel to Coney Island, where they will purchase their food and calculate the tip as a math exercise. Then, one to Fort Fraser for some fun!

This year Disney's Field Day will take place on Wednesday, June, 4th. Only parents that volunteer in-advance (see below) and pass a background check will be able to attend the event. Also, be on the lookout for a text or email on the morning of the event should we have to cancel due to the weather. A few reminders:Students should bring a refillable water bottle with their name on it.Students should wear comfortable clothing and shoes, sunglasses or a hat, and sunscreen.We are also encouraging students to bring extra shirt/clothes due to the water games.
