EAA Chapter 55 will host a PANCAKE BREAKFAST on Sunday, June 14th, at Mason Jewett Airport; 643 Aviation Drive (Eden Road @ Kipp Road; south of the Ingham County Fairgrounds), Mason, MI. The “All-U-Can Eat” pancakes will be served with scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee - rain or shine - from 7:00am until 11:00am.  Breakfast cost is $10.00 for adults; $5.00 for children age 3-12 and under age three are free. Independence Day Parade – Mason, MI Friday, July 3rd, 2026 Staging Begins at 6:00 PM | Parade Steps Off at 7:00 PM Staging & Parade Start Location: TBD Come celebrate the country’s independence in Mason, Michigan! This annual community parade is filled with local businesses, civic groups, and organizations and never fails to delight spectators of all ages! Staging and check-in for the parade will begin at 6:00 PM TBD, with the parade officially stepping off at 7:00 PM. While this is an open parade and pre-registration is not required, it is greatly appreciated by our staff to help with planning and organization. All participants are still required to check in at the MACC booth located at the staging area to receive their official parade number. This event is generously presented by TBD. We extend our sincere thanks to the City of Mason, Ingham County Facilities, and the Mason Fire Department. We also appreciate our many MACC and community volunteers for their time, support and partnership in bringing this celebration to life. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love your help! Please contact the MACC office at 517-676-1046 to get involved. By Police Order: NO THROWING CANDY or other items from parade units is permitted. Walkers only may walk to sidelines and hand out candy or other items to spectators. No getting on or off units during the parade. The city and chamber are not liable for any police citations or injuries resulting from violation of this directive.  We look forward to celebrating Independence Day with you!
