The objectives of our Arts & Cultures session are to: Recognize the value and importance of arts and cultures in our community and how they connect people.Gain a better understanding of a few of the cultures represented in Macomb County.We will be starting the day at 7:30am at O’Halloran’s Public House located at 112 Macomb Place, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043. Please park in the Red Lot, which is across from O’Halloran’s & near the Anton Art Center. No need to pay the meter! We will be traveling by school bus to two locations and returning to Mt. Clemens no later than 4:15pm, where you will have time to check out the Anton Art Center and the Student Art Show sponsored by Extra Credit Union. Dress Attire: We will be traveling by school bus for the day so please dress in comfortable business casual attire and walking shoes. Please wear socks or bring a pair. We will be visiting a Buddhist Meditation Center where they ask that you please remove your shoes upon entering the building. Please dress in layers if you tend to get cold. Please Note: The elevator at the Anton Art Center is down. There are three floors to gallery. If you are not comfortable doing the steps, we completely understand.
