You deserve a space where you feel welcome. Come in for coffee, snacks and a relaxed conversation. Learn about local help with TrueNorth Community Services or just enjoy a friendly chat to start your day. TrueNorth helps provide insight into housing and homelessness support, assistance with heat and energy bills, youth and family programs, and other resources aimed at reducing poverty and strengthening our local communities. Everyone is welcome to come and chat! Here are their other areas of focus:Housing assistance and homelessness prevention (rent help, eviction prevention, rapid rehousing).Hunger prevention services, including food pantries and related food security programs.Youth and out-of-school time programs (e.g., Project FOCUS, mentoring, enrichment for K–8 students).Camp and recreation programs, including Camp Newaygo and leadership opportunities for youth.Social and community-building programs for adults and seniors (activities to reduce isolation and strengthen community ties).Broad anti-poverty and community development work focused on families and rural communities in West Michigan.Free.
