Join us in singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing at this inclusive, welcoming storytime for families at Park Grove Library starting at 10:30 a.m. This storytime focuses on concepts such as life skills, emotions, our community, and kindness. Storytime is your opportunity to meet new friends, socialize, and strengthen early literacy skills. Plus, there will be plenty of music (both singing and dancing varieties). We will meet in the children's area.Registration is not required. This storytime is recommended for developmental ages birth-eight and their grown-ups!

Join Circus Manduhai at Park Grove Library for a performance including foot juggling, acro-balancing, contortion, juggling (diablo, balls, clubs, spinning plates), unicycle, and/or hula hoops. Best of all, you, the audience, are always a part of the show!Circus Manduhai was founded by Chimgee Haltarhuu in 2003, and has been performing in schools, libraries, and parks, for private events and parties, and has performed at the Fitzgerald Theatre and at Mall of America. Chimgee came to the U.S.A. from Mongolia in 1991 to work for Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus. She has been teaching circus skills to Twin Cities children over 20 years at Circus Juventas, a local circus school. Through Circus Manduhai, Chimgee shares her Mongolian culture to audiences in Minnesota and the upper midwest.This program is recommended for all ages. No registration required.This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Children ages 9-12 are welcome to join us for Contraption Club at Park Grove Library. Participants will learn how to use a variety of technologies including 3D printers, a Glowforge laser cutter, a Cricut machine, an embroidery machine, TinkerCad, AdaFruit, and much more. No prior experience is required, librarians are on hand to assist you with the project of the day or free exploration. Limit to 9 participants at a time. If over 9 participants, the class will rotate participants every 45 minutes. No registration is required. This class is on a first-come basis.
