Join local Artist Kate Langlais as she leads free drawing classes for ages 8 - Adult. All supplies included. Registration is required and space is limited to 20 participants. Contact the library if you have any questions or if you would like to participate. Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7p starting 1/7 in the library's 3rd floor makerspace. We'll share stories and songs and fun! Storytime encourages language development, teaches early literacy skills, and fosters a love of books and a lifetime of learning. No registration is required. Older siblings and friends are always welcome. BookBuds is an informal reading buddies program for youth that pairs younger kids (elementary grades) with older kids (middle & high school grades) for one-on-one reading. Our TAB members will be the "big kids" available - you bring your elementary aged youth! No registration necessary. Drop in for any length of time between 4:00-5:00 pm on Thursdays in November or December. Younger kids can read to or be read to by older kids or the pair can take turns sharing a book together. This program is meant to be a fun, no pressure way for youth to build a passion for reading for the fun of it. It is not a tutoring program. Books will be chosen by the readers from the library’s collection or favorites can also be brought from home. Questions?
