Plan to be birding until early afternoon. Bring a lunch, snacks, water, mosquito repellent, and be prepared for changeable mountain conditions. Some of the possible birds: Calliope Hummingbird, Western Wood-Pewee, Clark’s Nutcracker, Yellow, and Orange-crowned Warblers, Green-tailed Towhee, several sparrow species, Mountain Bluebird, Pygmy Nuthatch, Osprey, Pied-billed and Eared Grebes, and more.
