The Hastings Downtown Business Association along with the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau are extremely excited to announce the return of the 19th Annual Historic Hastings Car Shows in 2025!   Join us on 2nd Street in downtown Hastings the 3rd Sunday of every month May through October from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Guests can enjoy music, food trucks, shops & local restaurants while checking out a variety of classic cars and trucks from 1985 and older.

Have you ever wondered what bird banding is all about?  Bird Banding records can help us learn how long birds live, where they travel, when and where they migrate and many other interesting facts.  Carpenter Nature Center has been banding birds for over 30 years.  On the fourth Friday of the month bird banding is open to the public.  There is no program fee, but donations of Bird Seed and Suet are greatly appreciated.
