Create a painted flower collage in this 3-part series. Learn a new process each session and incorporate your ideas into a unique still life collage that can be displayed at our November 8 community art pop-up exhibition. Led by COMPAS Teaching Artist Teresa Cox. Collaborator: COMPAS. This program is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Oct. 21: Paint fields of color and pattern. Oct. 28: Draw a still life inspired by vase shapes and botanical illustrations. Nov. 4: Assemble and finish collage. Attendance at all three sessions highly recommended to complete the project but is not required. Register for each date of attendance. COMPAS Teaching Artist Teresa Cox delights in using art to foster excitement for the discovery of new ideas and has taught all ages through institutions such as the Walker Art Center and the Science Museum of Minnesota.
