Welcome youth and young adults who want to play chess! Play for fun and learn chess basics from chess teachers and mentors. All levels are encouraged to attend, and new players will be offered help to learn the rules and get started. All equipment provided. The program is offered through a partnership with PLEDGE, a local mentorship organization. PLEDGE uses chess to build relationships and promote strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and other important skills. Come enjoy fun and friends at Hosmer Library. King's Coin Family Storytime

This program takes place at King’s Coin Laundry on Franklin Avenue. For toddlers, PreKs and their caregivers. Talk, sing, read, write and play together. Share books, stories, rhymes, music and movement. Collaborator: King’s Coin Laundry.
