Adult Tutoring

Adult Tutoring is a drop-in program for adults seeking 1:1 help with basic level reading, writing, language, and math. Adults will work with trained volunteer tutors during tutoring hours at the library. Drop-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.

Youth Game Night

Grades 3-8. Join us at Cedar Riverside Opportunity Center to play board games, card games, and Nintendo Switch provided by the library. Sponsor: Friends of the Hennepin County Library.

A computer tutor volunteer will be available at the library to offer aid and guide you in completing your task. Drop-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note your computer needs must be limited in time but we will try at least to get you started in the right direction. Items must be carry-in-sized. Bring any parts and supplies that might be helpful. This event is family friendly! Last items accepted at 3:30 p.m. Hosted by Hennepin County Environment and Energy. Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce the number of repairable things that are thrown in the trash.
