Brimming with catchy songs and captivating stories, this interactive program features spirited singing, Siama’s masterful acoustic guitar and traditional African instruments like thumb piano and balafon. Dallas encourages everyone to sing along in Kikongo and Lingala and the last song is a fun dance party! This charming show is great for kids and enjoyed by all. Don’t miss it! Collaborator: COMPAS. Bring in small household appliances, clothing, electronics and more. With free guided assistance, you can disassemble, troubleshoot and fix your item. No pre-registration required. Items must be carry-in-sized. Bring any parts and supplies that might be helpful. This event is family friendly! Last items accepted at 3:30 p.m. Hosted by Hennepin County Environment and Energy. Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce the number of repairable things that are thrown in the trash.
