Re: Juneteenth Holiday Signed into LawGovernor Walz signed into law MN Statute 645.44 that deems June 19th (aka. Juneteenth) a Minnesota Holiday. What does that mean for NLS?As a public employer, we must adhere to this new law, effective immediately. Meaning all New London-Spicer programming, including but not limited to, PALS, Community Education Courses, summer school, and summer activities will be canceled or postponed to a later date. Essentially, no public school business shall be conducted on this day, and therefore, our buildings will be closed on June 19th. If you have any questions about specific programs, please contact that specific school entity directly. Thank you, New London-Spicer Schools
