WHO:  Parents/Guardians of any current fifth-grade student attending a Sauk Rapids Rice elementary school who plans to attend SRRMS next year.  Parents/Guardians of resident students who attended a different school but plan to attend SRRMS are also welcome. Fifth-grade students who are attending Sauk Rapids Rice Elementary School (PVES, MHES, RES) will have a separate orientation day in the spring and will not need to attend this event. WHERE:  Sauk Rapids Rice Middle School.  Please enter Door #1 (main entrance by the flagpole) and report to the Community Arts Center (CAC). If you have any questions, please contact SRRMS at 320-654-9073. We look forward to welcoming you on Monday, March 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Arts Center (CAC) at SRRMS.  Optional student-led tours will also be available following the presentation.

The concert will be held in the Gym. Kindergarten will perform from 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Grade 1 will perform from 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE Send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying. SRR schools adopted Unity Day in 2013 by wearing orange on the first Wednesday of each month to take a stand against bullying.  The high school DECA program is working on new shirt designs and more information will be coming at a later date. *To sign up for reminder messages the night before each Unity Day, text u-day2025 to 81010 (this needs to be done yearly).* Unity Day History: Unity Day was started by Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center as a signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. The call to action was to "Make it Orange and Make it End. Unite Against Bullying!" Participants are encouraged to wear orange to show their support for bullying prevention.  Sauk Rapids-Rice is UNITED for kindness, acceptance & inclusion.
