Join Dayton's Bluff Library and Metro State Library on Saturday, June 28 for an afternoon of activities, food, and entertainment for the whole family! 11:00 a.m. Activities Begin / 1:00 p.m. Puppet Show  FunLab! will be during Community Fun Day from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. when the puppet show begins! The puppet show is The Adventures of Katie Tomatie performed by Open Eye Theatre.  Free and open to the community! For more information visit us at: Community Fun Day Everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chair or picnic blanket to relax and enjoy the festivities. The festivities will be outdoors at the Community Labyrinth next to the library building, however in the event of inclement weather, the puppet show and Community Fun Day will be held inside the Metro State and Dayton's Bluff libraries.

Are you new to birding or just looking for a refresher? If so, this bird walk is for you! Saint Paul Public Library is partnering with the Saint Paul Bird Alliance and the Urban Bird Collective to offer a beginning bird walk. Join volunteer guides at Lake Phalen Regional Park to learn and experience the basics for finding, describing, and identifying birds. Topics will include how to use binoculars and a field guide or birding app, birding etiquette, and birding ethics.  For teens and adults. Space is limited to 15 participants and registration is required. A waitlist will be available once registration has filled.
