The library mental health professional (Rob Lynett, MA, LPCC) position is back! He will primarily work out of the Rondo Library and George Latimer Central Library. Who is the Library Mental Health Professional? Saint Paul Public Library partners with People Incorporated to have a full-time mental health professional in library spaces. The professional serves an access point for patrons to connect with mental health and/or substance use services by completing comprehensive evaluations and making referrals for services. They can also be available to guide patrons in connecting with community resources tailored to their needs. Their expertise includes knowledge of public, private, and government organizations that can provide support.

We welcome our patrons to share and celebrate their work with joy and community connection! We heard you: we are hosting this event again! We were floored by all the creativity in the room and hope you will share your poems, music, spoken word pieces, and speeches with us again! Light food and refreshments will be provided. There will be a raffle with prizes for performers. Performers are encouraged to register. Please arrive by 5:30pm to sign up. Drop-ins may not be guaranteed a spot.
