Urban Roots and St. Paul Public Library Garden Storyime

Join us for a weekly storytime and garden activity at the Urban Roots Children's Garden at the Rivoli Bluffs Farm and Restoration Site. Ty Chapman, author of Looking for Happy, will be a special guest at today's garden storytime!

Join us on Saturday for Storytime! Build literacy skills as a family! In storytime we read, sing and play together to grow a love of reading and learning while having fun, socializing and building skills. Recommended for ages 0-6. Storytime will be followed by Tot Time where families can meet other families and play with various toys. This weeks theme is trains!  We will also be having a large collection of train toys to play with during Tot Time this week!

Tot Time- TRAINS

Join us in this free play time where young children and their families can explore, play, lean, and have fun together. This week we will be exploring trains in our play time. We will work together to make a large train track with supplies from Melon Seeds. 

Writing Together

Come and write! We will be doing exercises to work our writing brains, tinkering with words, and writing our hearts out! No experience necessary.

Join the Rice Street library as we bring back our program Barnyard Buzz! We will have animals, crafts, music, and games. Fun for the whole family! You can come and learn about some local organizations, play with some baby goats, meet some chickens, explore giant bubbles, and create some fun masks.  Guerilla Pastures will be back this year. Join the library for a couple of hours of fun, where you can feed animals such as chickens and goats. See how bees work through an observation beehive. Join activities such as building bee boxes and painting bee boxes. Come learn and ask any questions about regenerative agriculture, harvesting honey, or raising animals!
