Storytime is an interactive learning opportunity for you and your child to enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and fun. These developmentally appropriate programs help your little one get ready for school and life by reading and playing. Recommended ages 0-5.  Storytime will be in Room 112 of the West 7th Community Center. The storytime will last 30-45 minutes. Families are invited to check out materials and play in the West 7th Library space afterwards.

Drop in to an ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) class at the library! Learn about library resources and connect with books and materials while participating in parent-child activities and experiences that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language skills. All classes are taught by licensed early childhood teachers and parent educators through Saint Paul Community Education and Saint Paul Public Schools. This class is intended for parents/caregivers and children newborn to kindergarten age.

Set in an insane asylum on the last day of Zelda’s life, the play unfolds as a mesmerizing, hypnotic session. Performed by Monette Magrath. Gatsby at 100 2025 is the 100th anniversary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s book The Great Gatsby.
