Paid Leave is coming to Minnesota. Is your business ready? Starting Jan. 1, 2026, Minnesota Paid Leave will offer payments and job protections to Minnesotans when they need time off work for some of life’s most important moments – like welcoming a child, recovering from a serious illness, or caring for a loved one. As an employer, you play an important role in helping your employees learn about and access the program.   Minnesota Paid Leave and local chambers of commerce are teaming up to hold in-person engagement sessions for employers. At these events, you'll get an overview of the program, hear the latest updates, and get answers to your questions. Learn how to set up your Paid Leave accounts, designate a Paid Leave Administrator, and make key decisions that will shape how Paid Leave works in your organization.   The St. Cloud Area Chamber is proud to host Minnesota Paid Leave for an information and engagement session:   Date: Monday, September 29, 2025 Time: 9:30 - 11:30 AM  (Doors Open at 9:30 a.m., meeting at 10:00 a.m. Location: St. Cloud City Hall, 1201 7th St. S., St. Cloud, MN 56301-7516 Register Here   All local employers are invited to attend. Chamber Connection is a fun and informal networking group open to all members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce. The group meets every Friday morning from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at various locations. Meetings usually include networking and a continental breakfast from 7-7:30 am, followed by introductions from everyone, two business presentations, and time to exchange business leads and information at the end of each meeting.
