The 1860's Baseball Game will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead: 8060 Minnesota Highway 5 Waconia, MN 55387   Please bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on for this game. Please remember it is a field game and seating will be located in the grass around the edge of the field.   Parking will be located in the yard close to the Peterson house. Closer parking for those in need will be available.   Bathrooms will be located at the top of the hill near the barn.   A BBQ food truck will be on site.  Snacks including Peanuts, Cracker Jacks and Ice Cold Beverages will be sold at the game by the CCHS! Popcorn, Cracker Jacks, and Beverages $1 each. Peanuts for $3.   The house will be open an hour before the game to view our newest display, Documenting Disappearing Family Farmsteads designed by photographer Nisa Fiin.    FREE ADMISSION This Game and house display is Free, So Bring All of Your Family and Friends!   Donations Gladly Accepted. Proceeds support the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead.

The fundraiser will be help at Parley Lake Winery, which has graciously donated the space for our use. The maximum number of guests is 125.  Food is catered by Iron Tap in Waconia, and the band is Retro Soul & Westside Horns. The band is very supportive of our mission and therefore is charging us half their usual fee. Silent Auction items will be available to bid on. Cost per guest is $60 which includes one drink of choice, the meal from Iron Tap, activities, and door prizes. The event runs from 6pm to 9 pm. We currently have 5 business sponsors for the event. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds from the event will be matched 1:1 by an anonymous donor. This is an adults only event.
