Who is eligible to apply?Students who completed 7th grade in the 2024-2025 school year in the Ferguson-Florissant School District.Families must meet the income requirements which are linked.59 eligible students will be selected. What is a baby bond?A baby bond is an investment that gains interest and provides students the financial support for their decisions after high school.Selected students will receive $5 000 that will mature at the end of five years however it must be used for one of the following:Home PurchaseEntrepreneurial EndeavorHigher Education If not used it must be converted into a retirement account.How much does it cost?No cost - this initiative is being funded by the James S. McDonnell Foundation. Families must submit this linked application students will be selected randomly to participate.
