Please join us for an Open House and Ribbon Cutting for The Friends of Englewood Theater! The Friends of Englewood Theater purchased the historic Englewood Theater.  The Englewood Theater closed in 2007 after serving as a live performance venue known as KC Opry for 15 years.  Many artists, some well-known, signed their names on the back walls of the theater and it is included in Garth Brook’s song “The Old Stuff.” Brooks performed in the Englewood Theater early in his career. Englewood Theater was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ribbon Cutting ceremony will begin at 4:15pm. *Owner speaking *Tours of the theater *Networking *Refreshments will be provided     Parking is located on the street.
