However, please note that alcohol sampling is strictly for those of legal drinking age. Dog-Friendly Policy:Â We love our furry friends! Dogs are welcome in downtown Liberty and in some participating shops during the event. However, please keep these guidelines in mind: Check with individual shops before entering, as some may have their own pet policies.Dogs should remain leashed and well-behaved at all times.Please be considerate of others and clean up after your pet.Parking Information: There are 2-hour parking spaces available in front of the shops around the Square and on the side streets.For longer parking, public parking lots are available off the Square, located at Kansas and Gallatin Streets and Kansas and Missouri Streets.Handicapped parking is limited around the Square. Trick or Treat on the Square 2026

Halloween Trick or Treat on the SquareSaturday, October 31 | 5:00â7:00 PMWeâre thrilled to welcome families back for our annual Trick or Treat on the Square! This family-friendly Halloween tradition brings more than 1,500 families and children downtown for an evening of costumes, candy, and community spirit. So, gather your little monsters, witches, and superheroes and get ready for a boo-tiful evening of trick-or-treating around the Square. Donât forget your candy bucket â there will be plenty of treats waiting! EVENT DETAILSTrick-or-treating will take place along the sidewalks of the Square.Road closures begin at 4:30 PM and will stay in place until the event ends at 7:00 PM. Vehicles parked inside the event area after 4:30 PM will remain until the event is over.Gallatin and W. Kansas StreetsMill and S. Water StreetsE. Franklin and Missouri StreetsN. Main Street AlleywayCostumes encouraged â kids and grown-ups alike! WANT TO HAND OUT TREATS?Weâre inviting downtown Liberty businesses and community partners to join the fun by handing out candy during the event. With such a large turnout, this is a great opportunity to connect with the community.
