Commemoration 2026

This year’s commemoration of the battle is Saturday, August 8 at 10am. This event, hosted by the Nez Perce Tribe, is open to all. Commemoration takes place on the valley floor, which does not have sun protection or seating. Plan to bring your own sunscreen, bug spray, c......More

This year’s commemoration of the battle is Saturday, August 8 at 10am. This event, hosted by the Nez Perce Tribe, is open to all. Commemoration takes place on the valley floor, which does not have sun protection or seating. Plan to bring your own sunscreen, bug spray, camp chair, and water.We suggest arriving early to allow time to walk out to the camp site.
