MTC Scholarship Presentation CCHS Library Dec. 3 At the beginning of blocks 1-4 Interested in the trades? Does the idea of financial freedom in 1-2 years sound good to you? You could be making upwards of $70,000/yr in this short amount of time. If you can see yourself working at a Northern Nevada mine specializing in one of the trades below, don't miss this presentation!  With the Nevada Promise Scholarship, the paychecks you receive over the summer at your mine internship, and this $6,100 you could MAKE MONEY off college instead of spending any.  Students can receive $6,100 toward an AAS degree or Certificate of Achievement in the following programs: Diesel Electrical Systems Industrial Millwright Instrumentation Welding MTC stands for Maintenance Training Cooperative. This organization includes several Nevada mines as well as Great Basin College, where you would receive your education if you win the scholarship. The program also includes a paid internship beginning this summer.
