Every Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Barrington Public Library. Mahjong: Come and join a group of folks to play Mahjong! New players are welcomed as the veterans are happy to teach new people the ropes. A minimum of 4 players is typically best to hold a game. The Library has one mahjong board but anyone who has another can feel to bring it in case we have overflow players. Cribbage: Come and join a group of folks to play Cribbage! New players are welcomed as the veterans are happy to teach new people the ropes. We have 1 cribbage board for 2-4 players. This workshop is intended for those (18+) who wish to expand and hone their writing skills. We will discover new ways to stretch our creative muscles, from literary devices to elements of different genres, to receiving kind critiques. Please join Angela Deschesne for this exciting opportunity to bring forward your passion for writing. Angela Deschesne holds a Masters in Teaching with a focus in Secondary Education English/Writing. She taught in private and public education in CT, CO, and NH for 10 years. She lives in Barrington with her husband and two boys, and is now a paraprofessional at the ECLC. Her favorite authors are Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King.
