This market runs every Wednesday through October 1st, from 3:30–6:30 PM at a NEW LOCATION: 110 Portland Ave (the lot behind the Dover Ice Arena).   Our market will have live music and a rotating selection of local produce, bread, lobster, flowers, canned goods, desserts, nut butters, crafts, and more!   Want to know who’s coming each week? Step into a world of wonder this summer at the 9th annual Fairy and Hobbit House Festival, returning with new summertime dates and an extra sprinkle of enchantment! Formerly held in October, this beloved fundraiser for Bedrock Gardens will now take place in July, inviting guests of all ages to explore the garden’s “enchanted woodlands” during the height of the growing season. This three-day festival celebrates imagination, nature, creativity, and play, featuring a full lineup of magical activities for both kids and adults. Visitors can marvel at whimsical entries in our Fairy and Hobbit House Design Competition (details below), vote for their favorites, or try their hand at building a miniature home fit for woodland folk. Festival-goers can also enjoy: • Magical storytelling with our Fairy Godmother • Making a fairy dust dream pillow • Get a personalized fairy or hobbit name from the Woodland Folk. • Enchanted Face Painting • Nature based activities and crafts Costumes are warmly encouraged—don your fairy wings, elf ears, flowing beards, and glittering gowns for a chance to fully immerse yourself in the festival spirit. Your base session includes a wide selection of dry drawing materials and specialty papers. When you arrive, you’ll be able to choose your supplies from our in-studio art menu, with the option to upgrade to premium wet mediums or mixed media combinations. You will have the option to choose objects from the still life buffet, a reference photo from the rack, a self-portrait mirror, an expressive art stencil, or take a Polaroid to work from.

Mini-treatments are community-style, which means we can effectively give many people this stress-relieving opportunity at the same time while each person is resting comfortably in conference chairs. Are you Needle Sensitive or apprehensive about needles? Don't let that stop you. Although we use extremely thin acupuncture needles, we also offer a non-needle alternative.  Who: Anyone who has stress in their work/home life, is curious about acupuncture or just wants an opportunity to relax. Where: Dover Chamber of Commerce- Conference Room When: The 4th Thursday* of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. No appointment is needed. First come, first served. Come join us at the annual Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show at the Raitt Homestead Farm. Fun for the entire family. Enjoy all the show has to offer while walking around the farm grounds, listening to the sounds of antique machinery working.  This event is our fundraiser for the RHFM to continue our mission of preserving the 33 acre farm for future generations and all the beautiful wildlife that live on the property.  Friday night is the Ham and Bean supper which sells out each year, so get here early to enjoy yours.  Hit & Miss engines, lots of tractors, and working farm machinery displays will be on hand to enjoy. The Shingle Mill will be operating at various times, making the shingles everyone loves and which are also used to refurbish and maintain buildings on the farm. Watch large and small engines make antique equipment work, like the Hildreth wood splitter and more. There are crafters, flea market, and tractor part vendors to peruse.   The Tractor parade on Saturday is a favorite as is the Antique Stoneboat Tractor Pulling….there is something for everyone. Kids love the barrel tractor ride, kids corner, super cute kids pedal pull on Saturday morning at 9am, bouncy house, face painting and more.  Good food, loads of family fun, and unique experiences are the goal of the weekend. A small admission of $8 per person, with kids 12 and under free will create memories to last a lifetime.
