Semester 2 Come have fun, try new things and make fun projects!   We will experiment with new skills and materials, hear some stories and use our imaginations! Art Club for grades 1, 2 & 3 or age equivalent. (Kindergarten students can join Thursdays starting in January – see bottom of the page) We will meet Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:15.  Epping Elemenary students will be picked up and walked down from school by CCS Staff. Non-walker information below.   Register for a 4 week “Session” or a full “Semester” and receive a semester discount.                              If you are registering by session, you must renew your registration monthly by emailig Vandy at [email protected] or speaking to her directly  on or before the 2nd day of the current session. Epping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) You will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. *Please note:  We follow the SAU 14 school calendar. Registration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.  Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. Cancellation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by December 22nd for the Art Club session of the new year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancellation is on or after December 22nd. No refunds after the 4-week session has begun.   If a refund is requested for a half-year registration the refund will be pro-rated as if you had registered session to session up until the refund date. Registration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. There will be 1 make-up day offered/semester for Art Club days that may have been missed due to snow/school cancellation or teacher illness. Meeting space:  Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space. The Art Explorers Club is supportive of the artistic interests of individuals with developmental disabilities.  Art Explorers Club members are presented with a project that they can make, or they can experiment with the materials.  This group is open to teens and adults with their support person(s). We meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays. You must pre-register for this club. Please see below. *If you would like your group or individuals to join Art Explorers Club or would like us to offer  a club for your group – Please email Vandy at [email protected] After you assure there is room, it becomes a “drop-in” class.

These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.
