glazedglaze Did you make ceramics at a Creative Community Space class or event?  Come on this evening to paint on your glaze so we can fire it again and make it a functional ceramic piece for you.  You pay a $14.00 studio fee. Glaze is then $5.00/ pound of clay used. This includes your second firing to make your creation a functional ceramic piece. This is an All Ages event. Drop in no registration needed. *Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space, they only pay the $5.00 materials fee on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. First come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. Masks are optional, this is a no-judgment zone!!!

The Art Explorers Club is supportive of the artistic interests of individuals with developmental disabilities.  Art Explorers Club members are presented with a project that they can make, or they can experiment with the materials.  This group is open to teens and adults with their support person(s). We meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays. You must pre-register for this club. Please see below. *If you would like your group or individuals to join Art Explorers Club or would like us to offer  a club for your group – Please email Vandy at [email protected] After you assure there is room, it becomes a “drop-in” class.

Come welcome summer with some yummy cookie art! Ally from “Your Baker” will guide you in decorating some sweet cookies to eat! We’ll play a game, learn to use piping bags, and learn decorating tips and techniques to create your own edible art! What a fun way to start the summer! We need 10 students to run this fun summer kick-off workshop. Grades 3-5 (or going into 3 or 6 in the fall is okay too), or age-equivalent. Registration Deadline June 5th, midnight. No refunds after June 5th (unless the class doesn’t run.) Friday, June 19th  10-11:30 Cost $35.00 includes materials.

Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. *********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!!
