The event takes place on 16 outdoor courts at the Exeter Town Recreation Park in Exeter, New Hampshire. Athletes compete in a round robin style tournament with brackets for all ages and skill levels. All proceeds raised from the tournament directly benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire and our mission of creating one to one professionally supported mentoring relationships for the youth in NH.

Inviting the restaurants to enlist the talents of their Masters of Mixology and create their SIGNATURE DRINK. Held between Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 27, the 2025 Great Cocktail & Mocktail Challenge will answer the question: "Who makes the best cocktail/mocktail in the Exeter Area?" Join us for Junior Science at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. We are excited to invite junior scientists (ages 3.5-5 years old) to our November session! This 45 minute class includes a story or felt board activity, followed by a fun experiment, and a related art project to take home. Families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time from 1:30-2:15 pm - please note that the museum is closed to the public on Tuesday afternoons. Grown ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time. Cost is Members $48/child; Non-Members $60/child. Pre-registration is required. Visit www.childrens-museum.org to learn more.

An Evening with Ben Shattuck: Writing, Place, and the Power of Storytelling Join us for an intimate conversation with Ben Shattuck, award-winning author of Six Walks: In the Footsteps of Henry David Thoreau and The History of Sound. A keen observer of New England’s landscapes and history, Shattuck’s work explores the intersection of place, memory, and storytelling. In this special event, Shattuck will discuss his writing process, the role of New England’s environment and people in shaping a narrative, and the enduring influence of Thoreau. He’ll also share insights on Nantucket, nature writing, and the craft of historical fiction. Books will be available for purchase and signing in collaboration with Water Street Books in Exeter, NH. His second book, The History of Sound, was named one of the Chicago Tribune’s 10 Best Books of 2024 and longlisted for the 2025 Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction.? A film based on his story, The History of Sound, starring Adam Mescal and Josh O’Connor, will premiere in 2025.
