The Caregiver's Group, an informal group of people who are caring for a loved one, meet every Friday at the Moultonborough Library at 10 a.m.  The Caregivers Group has developed a book list and our own documents about how to get through a trying time. Caregivers Group welcomes anyone who is caring for someone. We help each other, listen, offer tips and information, blow off steam and laugh. The Safe Place Bereavement Group is here to support you through the ups and downs of loss. Our group provides a welcoming environment where you can share your experiences, express your feelings, and learn coping strategies. While your grief is unique, finding comfort in connecting with others who face similar challenges can be reassuring. Grieving is a process that requires your attention, and there’s no single “right” way to do it. Though joining a grief group might feel daunting, many have discovered it to be an invaluable resource. Remember, you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. There are six classes in the series. Join Castle in the Clouds Curator Robin Sherman for an intimate exploration of the artwork that has graced the historic Lucknow Mansion—from the time of Thomas and Olive Plant to today. Uncover which pieces are original to the Plants' collection and which have been thoughtfully acquired in recent years. Learn about the artists behind these works and discover how the Castle team carefully curates and expands the collection to preserve the mansion’s rich artistic legacy.  About the presenter: Robin Sherman is the Curator & Director of Preservation for Castle in the Clouds. In addition to overseeing the Castle’s historic collections and ongoing restoration, Robin loves diving into a new research project. Robin earned her M.A. in Public History and Museum Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2016. Test your puzzle-solving prowess at the Moultonborough Library's Puzzle Palooza Jigsaw Competition! Gather your team of up to 4 puzzlers and enjoy 2 hours of collaborative puzzling fun against other teams to be the first to complete a challenging jigsaw puzzle. The winning team will each receive a free puzzle from our library's stockpile of used puzzles, plus bragging rights, PLUS, a puzzle travel mat! All participants can choose to keep the competition puzzle or donate it to the library for our used book sale. There is a $20 participation fee per team to cover the cost of the competition puzzles payable at the library in cash, by check, or credit card on the day of the event. Each team should complete only one registration.
