April 24 (Saturday) Wildflowers at Distant Hill Join spring ephemeral enthusiasts Nate Marchessault and Michael Nerrie for a leisurely walk looking for early-season wildflowers. We'll begin by viewing some native spring ephemerals cultivated in the gardens, then hike a maximum of two miles on wide and relatively flat trails searching for blooms and other signs of spring. 3 to 5 p.m. at Distant Hill Gardens in Walpole. Space is limited, and registration is required. Eventbrite registration page coming soon. Note: As we look for signs of spring, we will be uploading observations to iNaturalist. Any observations we make will be added to the Monadnock Region iNaturalist project Nate created for the three day City Nature Challenge happening April 24 - 27. Come and join the fun!
