Join Sound Practitioner and Reiki Master, Genevieve Deely, for a unique meditative experience for adults using the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls to soothe the mind, body and soul. A sound bath is a meditative experience allowing those in attendance to be immersed in calming and healing sound waves. As half of the human body is made up of water and water is an excellent conductor of sound, there is very little effort on your part to experience the healing effects of sound. Sound Baths are experiences that may help reduce stress of all kinds and induce deeper connection to one s inner world. Genevieve will lead participants through this unique experience using the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls and chanting to soothe the mind, body and soul. Participants can be in a seated position or lying down. If you choose to lie down, it is most important you bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow to be comfortable during the hour. Registration RequiredThis class will operate on a donation basis - please consider a minimum donation of $10 which will go directly to our instructor. Join Stand Out For College, LLC as they offer this Zoom presentation to help families of high school juniors, sophomores, and freshmen better understand the college admissions process and how to successfully navigate today s changing landscape. The session will cover current admissions trends and strategies, the evolving test optional environment, the importance of researching and visiting colleges to find the right fit, and key timelines and action steps that can make this season productive while easing stress along the way. They will also take a close look at the holistic admissions review process, including what admissions officers value when evaluating applicants and how students can develop a strong personal narrative that reflects their strengths, interests, and experiences. Another focus will be on the role of community service and how meaningful involvement can foster personal growth, strengthen a student s character, and demonstrate a positive impact on others. Admissions officers consistently place great emphasis on character, and thoughtful service can help students show initiative and a genuine commitment to helping their communities. This program is recommended for parents and their high school teens. It provides a clear and strategic overview of what students should prioritize for a successful college admissions journey and how to approach the process with confidence and less stress.
