FAMILY AMBASSADORS PROGRAM We offer an optional family ambassador program in which our veteran family volunteers are connected with your family to personally welcome you to the community, to socially connect, and to answer any questions you may have.  If you would like to be matched with an ambassador family, please notify Mrs. Allie Ferenc or Mrs. Jackie Hulme by 8/26 so you can be paired accordingly and to allow time for them to reach out to you.  Their respective emails are [email protected] and [email protected].   We do need your permission to share your information if you would like to participate.  Participation in the program is not required but offered as an additional support for you in your transition.

We still plan to cover all of the same material and believe you will find the information helpful in preparing your child for the transition into MTMS. We highly encourage that your child also attends as it should help ease any nerves they may be feeling.   All students must read and sign the MTMS academic honor code.  Every single assignment in every single class that is turned in must have the statement - Example: Jane Smith  This is 100% my work.  Mendham Township Middle School Honor Code At Mendham Township Middle School we value integrity, trust, and respect in all members of our school community. Upholding these values allows us to create and foster a fair learning environment where every student can thrive every day.  MTMS students are expected to be honest in all of their academic work.  This means students are not to give or receive unauthorized assistance on their assignments and assessments.   Academic dishonesty is a level three offense. Students caught cheating will earn a 0% on the entire assignment for the first offense. On the second offense, the student will again earn a 0% on the assignment and will be subject to a response consistent with the Code of Conduct. Even if the student earns a 0%, he or she must still complete the assignment in order to complete the course requirements.  Examples of academic dishonesty include but are not limited to: -Plagiarism (taking another’s work or ideas and using it as one’s own) -Using unapproved notes or sources -Copying another student’s work -Turning in another student’s work as one’s own -Collaborating on work that is meant to be done independently -Intentionally participating in any act that may help another student obtain an unfair academic advantage -Turning in blank assignments so they are marked as done in Google Classroom - Using a calculator on a “non-calculator” assignment in mathematics / science I pledge my honor that I will maintain my academic honesty throughout this school year, and I understand the consequences for failing to do so.   On every assignment and assessment submitted in every class, students will write their name and pledge their academic honesty by writing “This is 100% my work.”   Example: Jane Smith  This is 100% my work.
