The Georgia- born, Washington-raised musician first picked up a guitar after seeing The Beatles on TV then, having witnessed Jimi Hendrix perform in Seattle, determined that his destiny would also follow a similar path. And so he has: across the past half century Robert Crayâs developed into one of American musicâs most singular artists.  âI guess youâd have to say that we were lucky,â reflects Cray on his life in music, âbecause, growing up in the 1960s, the different music played on the radio really opened us up. The Camden County Board of Commissioners is offering a supportive and informative series designed specifically for family caregivers. “Stress Busting for Family Caregivers” provides a welcoming space to learn practical tools for managing stress while connecting with others who understand the challenges of caregiving. Held on select dates from April through July at the Camden County Library System in Voorhees, these sessions focus on helping participants better understand how stress impacts both the body and mind. Attendees will build problem-solving skills for everyday situations and practice simple, effective stress management techniques. The program may include guided breathing, meditation, imagery, art, and other relaxation strategies aimed at improving overall well-being. Offered in a hybrid format, caregivers can join in person or virtually, making it accessible for a variety of schedules and needs. This series encourages caregivers to take time for themselves—offering not just helpful resources, but also a sense of community, connection, and renewal.

The Friends of the Indian King Tavern are happy to announce that the Annual “Skirmish” between the British and the Colonists will be held on the first Saturday of June throughout the streets of colonial Haddonfield, NJ.   On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Redcoats will invade Haddonfield and be challenged by Continental troops, just as they did 247 years ago — in June 1778.  The day’s events include activities such as a yelling contest, colonial dancing, pillory prisoners and character reenactors. Plus, soldier reenactors will be available to meet visitors before and after the Skirmish.
