About Us
The Fair Lawn, NJ and Glen Rock, NJ fire departments have teamed up to offer the Citizens Fire Academy. Participants will be given a combination of lectures and practical exercises introducing them to the fire service, engine company operations, truck company operations, search and rescue, motor vehicle extrication's and fire extinguishers. Participants will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a fire fighter, where the gear and do the job.
